eat. pray. love.

I've been absorbed in this book all week. I had jury duty on Monday, so I was provided LOTS of reading time. I can't believe I hadn't read this book back when it was "all the phenomenon." But I was determined to read it before the movie comes out in August. Elizabeth Gilbert's definitely onto something!

In other news, some of you may have noticed a new look around here. Hope you like it as much as I do. It's cohesive with my main site memorable minutes. I've got a button on the left hand side, feel free to grab the code. There are also some pages - places to go, things to see (that has all the crafty blogs that are updated almost daily); inspirational people (these blogs are my friends' blogs from the wonderful e-course I participated in, Flying Lessons. These blogs are full of artful and creative inspiration whenever you need a lift!). Enjoy wandering around over here.

Hi Sydney,
I have this book and need a chunk of time to sit down with it. My daughter said it is the kind of book that needs to be read in one sitting.
In answer to your question.
Sticky Back Canvas is a product by Chaudine Hellmuth. I forgot
to add a link in the post.

I love your new blog look! You must be thrilled-it is amazing. I'm grabbing your button right now! It was great to see your smiling face on my blog today. Thanks for the sweet comment.Take care! And enjoy EAT PRAY LOVE! There are some really beautiful lines in there. Have you gotten to the part where she chooses a word for herself? I think my word would be "Wonder." You'll have to let me know yours:) Take care!

Oh, Sydney, I woke up from a dream this morning that I was reading this book...I've got to get it.

Thanks for visiting my blog and following...I could not thread my sewing machine either...I had to take it to my mom to have her show me AGAIN how to do it!

Have a great weekend!

i'm looking forward to the movie too... when i read the book, i was a super-sicko-preggo (beyond nauseous) so all mentions of food were skipped. i think i missed a lot, but most of all, i loved the energy of the book..enjoy!
