I'm very new to this whole blog thing, but not to the land of blogging. I've been reading them for a while. I've been keeping a folder labeled "things to try someday" with links to all of these amazing projects I would love to do. I love finding all the inspiration while I dream my big, and what seems at times daunting, dreams. You see, I have a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I've spent some time in the classroom but have not, in three years ever been able to find my own classroom. So at the end of a long road of frustration, and not too far from where I started from, I have turned back to my roots of arts and crafts. The thing is, all of the projects I have kept filed are for "someday" and "one day." One day when I have my OWN house wouldn't this be so neat in this room? One day when I live here I can't wait to try this! One day when I have the space... One day when I have more money.... Well guess what? Don't you ever get tired of "one day?!" I know I do, and I know I am. I am tired darnit! Why ONE day? What about all of the TODAYs? I want to live for today, after all, they are only here once. This day will not come again, so why not spend it doing what I love? Can I make this whole starving artist thing work without really starving?! This summer might be just when I find out. Hmmmmm....I'm a little nervous. Are you? Go start your "one day" today! :)
